Last year we had two new leisure batteries and a thin 80w solar panel fitted at our local dealer. Last year we were in France and Spain fora month and on Aires a lot but we were driving every day so we're assuming that the charge was coming from the engine.
At Easter at the Chester meet our batteries flattened on the third night so we assumed then that we had overused them because the heating was running a fair bit with the fan going. We were puzzled because the battery light still showed full charge until the last minute. When we got home we plugged into the mains for a week and since then there's been loads of sunshine and the solar panel showed full charge.
Son is away this weekend in the motorhome and after 24 hours the batteries have gone flat again.
I think we have a problem.
Any thoughts? I'll take it to the dealer obviously but I'd like to be able to argue my corner if they try to tell me it's normal.
Thanks
Mags
