Hi
We leave for a long holiday soon and trying to make sure that we have everything we need, we have been advised to take a couple of different tap connectors for filling the water tank.
I have previously seen a thread advising on the type of Hozelick (or similar) connectors that may be useful but can I find the thread now - no chance.
So would appreciate any advice that the experts can give us.
Thanks in advance.

Previous 'thread' on tap connectors - no pun intended?!
I found this: http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/water-tap-connectors.22435/
Also, this is what is generally used in the UK and abroad and your water hose will click-push on to it - think I've come across some larger diameter tap threads in France but this connector does most. Probably best to buy in the country you're visiting if you do get a problem.
Enjoy your travels,

Just got out first motorhome and it came with a hook up lead. What else do I need to use campsites & French aires. Hoses? Tap adaptors etc?

Thanks
Is this the one? If so click the little arrow by his name.

Peter,
Something like these will do most taps we have encountered on Aires & sites in France & Spain.

If you have room in your MH, also advise carrying a watering can.

We are at the other end of Cumbria to you near Penrith but if you wanted a ride up here we could have a brew and talk through what we know of MHing in France & Spain.

The only problem I encounter is those French chromium plated smooth taps in some situations. I carry one of those hose connectors that has a jubilee clip attached to tighten it around the tap, still get problems with it slipping sometimes though.

Hi Barry
Would be good to meet up some time over a brew but unfortunately our free time is really limited before we go away so maybe after when we have some stories of our own to bore you with.
