Regardless of what has been said these are simple to use either the electric tolls or the pay at the booth type.

If you are a die hard that does not use tolls at any cost then think again in Portugal or you will stuff several more miles on to do a journey and spend ages up and down the gearbox.

We think a few euros spent on tolls is a small price to pay when we have had such brilliant free aires

According to our bank statement they are working just fine on English plates
