Can anyone tell me if there is any decent daytime parking for a motorhome in the vicinity of the historic dockyards?

there is a very good park and ride system in operation now. its well posted off the motorway and is the turn off just before the ferry exit. buses run every 10min .
used it for a couple days while waiting for a delayed ferry in January.. no more than 10 min to the dockyard.

When we went for a trip round the historic dockyard we parked our motorhome in the coach park for the day.
