Second hand American A class due to dock in the UK shortly

Have previously purchased 'add on' warranty for motor cars - they sell similar mechanical warranties with second hand commercial vehicles

Anybody had any dealing suggestions for someone to approach for a quote - predominantly to cover the drive train but all options open at present

((Car warranty people I have spoken to have an incident limit of £2K - not much good in a big American pusher!! ))

Hi Poacher

We changed our m/h last October, and it came with a 3 year warranty, provided by MB&G Insurance Services, North Shields....tel 0191 259 0647.

I thought it would be a waste of time, but it covers all original bits, but not comsumables. We have made a claim, for about £500.00, quote approved over phone, confirmed by e-mail (pdf).

Just got to forward invoice and satisfaction note, and then see how long they take to write the cheque, they have promised within 10 days...(

Could be worth a try.
