Help!!

I've had this advert on my website page all day long.

I even had to switch off my iPad just to eat my dinner in comfort.

Enough already - what do I have to do?

Delete all your cookies and clear stuff from safari in settings. But new ads will come as you start to browse the web.

That is an auto served Google advert. But you can get rid of it by clicking on the little triangle Ad Choices and tell google you don't want to see it again. Or use an adblocker to stop seeing any of them yy

No, it won't work for me.

I have reported this ad to Google four different ways and still it returns.

1. Seen this ad multiple times...

2. Not interested in this ad...

3. Ad covered content...

4. Ad was Inappropriate...

Not happy it's still here.

As Jim suggests, download Adblock Plus - even I managed to do that and it works a treat ( blocks all ads, not just the ' offending' one; but you'll then have a toggle whereby can re-allow ads whenever you want to)

mines coming up with 'check marriage certificates on line' no idea what I have looked at to inspire that

go and look at google images for something you want to see, doesn't seem to take long for the ads to change to what I have been looking at

I tried ad blocker, but got fed up with the pop ups telling me is has been updated do I want to upload

I have got used to filtering out the right hand margin

Just installed ad blocker absolutely brill got rid of all the irelervent shit that has kept appearing for the last year.

I use uBlock Origin I find it much better than Adblocker works seamlessly in the background.

I think it's probably more likely that my lappy is so old it doesn't get updates any more.....

There you go, no adverts, but at least daily reminders that new versions are waiting to be updated. I do accept some, but can't be bothered with all as they then need a restart, I often only pop on for a few minutes, not giving up valuable time for updates I almost certainly will not notice

Have just seen I am already on the super duper plus version though

You probably need to refresh the page or even re-start?
I haven't managed to do links on the tablet but I got mine from
https://adblockplus.org
There are a few versions for different IT formats.

Nope . Maybe it's because it's an ipad. Still got all the usual boringMH ads on the left. Plus a "we buy any house" now! Probably osim looking on right move a lot!

Here is the Adblock Plus App I used ( top left ABP)

You will need to re-start your ipad and start ABP before opening browser.

Any problems etc.,

I had no less than two adverts displaying at the same time for Wonga this morning. A wonderful company which will loan me money at 1,500% should I have an urgent need. Give me a picture of a fatty liver any day over a Wonga advert.

I find these adverts usually vanish after a while if I ignore them.

And fatty livers are not to be distained. One was a contributing factor in the death of George Michael apparently. The condition is somewhat related to being a TOFI which stands for thin outside fat inside and describes someone who doesn't look overweight but what fat they have is in all the wrong places - around the internal organs.
Never mind the adblockers, is there a fatblocker?
