Pig Tail Hose......change every 5 years (1 Viewer)

I serviced my fridge today and all was good.
However I noticed the date on the pig tail hose connecting my LPG bottles to the regulator
was date stamped 2009. It is recommended that these be changed every 5 years.
This got changed as part of the service.........so all is now good and ready for
our trip to France.

As part of a garage clearout, I chopped the metal ends off a 2004 Pigtail.
I have to say that I've either got a very blunt Hacksaw( I haven't) or that 5yr 'rule' is profit creation exercise on behalf of the manufacturers.
