We've been for the last two years staying across the road at Upper Carr camp site, but this year we are just going up on the Saturday. Well worth the effort though.

brill atmosphere on Saturday when they close the main street off to normal everyday traffic for the parade.

very nostalgic, some of our friends love dressing up in the forties gear, must say everyone looks very smart:thumb:

the ones in the Yankie trucks throw sweets out into the crowd, only once have I seen 1 person dressed in German uniform thought he was very brave lol
