we took off for a month this summer, starting off in North Wales, then down through the West Country to Lands End, returning via Stratford On Avon and Iron bridge. We stayed on a combination of CCC sites, CLs, commercial sites and a Britstop.

Nothing really booked in advance apart from first few days in Llanstrumwy. We then kind of looked at the map and used Internet or CCC book etc to identify a site that was near enough to where we wanted to be, and was dog friendly.

A great holiday, excuse the cheesy music!

We have just changed our caravan for another motorhome. Glad to be back! We have just bought the Britstop book, what was the stop like that you used?

The Britstop we stayed at was awesome. We parked in a field next to the business, which was like a mini zoo, and spent some time looking round it.The field had a sea view and beach was accessible, about a 10 min walk.

Went to their cafe next morning for breakfast and the very accommodating owners said we could stay put if we wanted to.

As it turns out, we took a heritage railway trip to Minehead (not my kind if place though as it turned out) returning about 4 pm to head off to Lymouth C&CC site.

The heritage railway stop was a short walk from the Britstop so location was excellent.
