Can someone please enlighten me on regulations regarding taking our dogs abroad. Once we have passports for them are we free to take them as and when we want and what procedures do we take regarding vaccinations and things? Now they are used to travelling in the motorhome and very well behaved in their harnesses we want to start travelling to France which is very easy as we are only 35 mins from Dover.

    Dave and Julie.

You need to keep vaccinations up to date. You also need to treat them a few days before returning to the UK. You will need to find a suitable vet to do this. Finally, your ferry company/tunnel need to be informed and sent about £30 a return.
