I have common land in front of my property. We have been invaded three times this year by the Itinerants. The rubbish that they left had to be cleared up by the council. Where the grey and black water went to !. The council as had to put up fences, so if they openend up as a Aire they would be back.

As long as we have the money hungry C&CC and the CC the UK will NEVER have an Aires system. These two organisations have the power in high places and always stop the progress for motor home Aires. They love our money but couldn't give a s. .. about us. We've given up doing anywhere except Scottish an France. At least the scotts have a brain to see the benefits gained from aires. Aberdeenshire has some very large stopovers and have proved there worth to the local community.

It's a pity some of the abandoned public house sites cannot become Aires. Perhaps we should lobby the breweries.

Breweries probably wouldn't be interested in obtaining licences and planning permission and running aires but I suppose they might be interested in leasing their land to individuals who wanted to do so.

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
Never going to work as needs 1666 votes a month or 53 a day!!!! before it runs out in Feb 2016.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1,400 so far is not bad only 266 short of August required number of 1666, therefore 1932 for September. Don't want to say "told you so" but I will anyway
