At most of the Warners Shows we've been to, (a fair few), the majority of Funsters tend not to go to the main entertainment on the Saturday night, but prefer to get together in the Funsters marquee, and make their own entertainment. Jethro's appearance may produce a different result.

At one show years ago, (Lincoln I think), we Funsters were enjoying ourselves so much in our small Marquee, that we drowned out the main act, Joe Pasquale, who briefly paused his performance at one stage, as a result.
We got told off by security..........................several times, and in the end, they shut us down.

Wow that does surprise me as the cost of this entertainment is very reasonable, where can you go and get entertained by reasonable acts without paying quite a lot more than this and there is more than enough time other than the entertinament times for funsters to get together, perhaps I'm missing something
I thought one of the main reasons the funsters go to these meets is the entertainment including meeting other funsters and enjoying their company, but each to his own I suppose.
I myself do go for the entertainment as camping and entertainment for 4 nights for these prices is very good value for money I think.
It would be interesting to see what is the majority of funsters who attend the entertainment.
Having said all that I suppose it depends on what entertainment is on and if that is the type of entertainment you like if you go to it.

Tony, I didn't once mention cost, or a lack of value in my post.

We Funsters do enjoy each others company, and because of the numbers attending, we are given our own Marquee by Warners, to congregate and socialise in. Some do go to the main act on the Saturday night........................but most don't. If staying over on the Sunday night, almost all Funsters attend that evening show, en masse.

Thanks for that, I myself do not get to go to shows of any kind for one reason or another so I find when I get the chance it's nice to be entertained in that way, I was not saying you are missing the point, I was just saying from my point of view only, and I find them good value.

If there is entertainment which I like and is to my taste and a reasonable cost I will attend, like I surpose anyone would, as I see on another thread a Neil Diamond tribute is listed at another meet and a few stated they like Neil Diamond so they will be going to that venue.
Please be aware I was not having a dig just a bit surprised.
You know it amazes me every time I type into a thread it can be taken very differently by the reader to what the typer meant.
I think I prefer face to face conversation myself, but having said that this is a good alternative. LOL
Sorry I'm not very good at expressing myself in type.
