It was as much willpower as horsepower that got me out. ::bigsmile:

BTW I took it out of automatic for the great escape - no way was I going to let it decide when to change gear in those conditions. :Eeek:

JJ is going to be disappointed

On our way home now, just stopped to eat, thought I'd upload a few of the pics I took today.

A Wet RV

This shows how wet the ground was, with some needing a tow on

A Wet rally field

wettraders.jpg

The traders area was decimated by the wind and rain, quite a few vans were damaged with falling flags and flying tent debris

These guys were well and truly wet, but still in good humour

The pool of water outsdide our trade tent early this morning. We didn't open.

Must do a big shout out to Bob and Jane who did a fantastic job, out there in the wet and the wind for two days straight doing their best to get people in without the use of a tractor, you guys were brilliant. :thumb: Also to those that assisted the marshalling, Graham and Jll, Tony and Jackie and GozoMike and many other that helped put tents up and take them down in appalling conditions:thumb: Many Many thanks, a great job.

I hope you guys still there get off OK and remember, JJ is offering big bucks for pictures of yank boxes, stuck in the mud, especially winebogo's driven by one legged funsters:Smile:

JJ is going to be disappointed.. I did not need to be towed off as Bob & Jane will confirm.. it was a straight drive off with the trailer attached...sorry JJ ... but I will take the bucks on off to the RNLI ... might have needed them at Peterborough.

Just love it when a plan comes together.... as they say:Blush:
