We are taking a trip to Brugge with our dog for just 3 nights,
Can we get her passport stamped in the UK the day we go.
And will we need to visit a vet before we return as its only 3 nights.
You don't need to get it stamped in the UK just produce passport when going through passport control but it does need to be stamped before you return a minimum 24hrs before ,suggest you get it stamped ready for return when you arrive at your destination if you are only stopping 3 days lol.Enjoy.
You can have the worm treatment and health check all done in the UK before you leave. There something on the official website about short trips which covers this. As long as it has been done within the last 5 days before returning you are fine.
You need to get a tapeworm treatment administered by a vet and this is what they stamp the passport for.
As long as it's between 24 and 120 hours of your ferry/tunnel back you can get it done wherever you like. At a UK vet before you travel is perfectly OK.
