*** DOG OWNERS, BE AWARE! ***

It has been bought to our attention this afternoon that a dog walker whilst out in the vicinity of Rushmere Common close to The Sandlings area has found what appears to be a piece of meat containing some form of blue liquid.

This was removed immediately but we cannot be sure there may not be anymore left in the area.

We would therefore ask that you all remain vigilant in this and surrounding areas and report anything suspicious by calling 101.

As a precaution we would recommend that your dogs are kept on leads.

Please pass this on to other dog walkers you know that may not be a member of Paws on Patrol.

This will be followed up by ourselves in the coming few days and we will of course keep you updated.

    Thank you and kind regards

I'm forwarding this info from the Police and Holiday Dogs. Please spread the word to anyone who might walk in that vicinity

there was a similar thing happened at a country park near ringwood a few years ago. some evil bastard left meat with small nails in it around the forest area to try and kill dogs. these people need locking away from decent folk for a very long time
