Pet hates on aires. (or grumpy old man time) (1 Viewer)

Thanks Jock and Jim, I have seen many aires that look very nice, some in very good locations but when I see some others with the vans crowded in, and read comments on here, it puts me right off.

I think it would be a good idea to have two lists of aires on here, one list of aires that are recommended and one for aires to avoid (although the campsite reviews section isn't used).

You are right about the crowding Ralph. We stayed at St Valery En Caux, and it was that tight, that you could only just open your door. But at Honfluer, Le Touquet, Le Mailleray Sur Seine, Mimizan, and Le Mont St Michel, there was good space between each MH.
We certainly won't stay at St Valery again. It was frighteningly close, to the point of really upsetting someone I know very well. :Sad:
And they were queing up from late afternoon, to get the space as you moved out, in the morning.
I really wanted to upload a photo to emphasize the situation at St Valery, but for some reason, it won't upload.!!!
