Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Just had a couple of days playing in the surf with the kids,we stayed on a grass car park at the texaco garage as you come into town on the Newquay road.
Parking is £8 for the day and you can spend the night for £10
It's a short walk to the beach and town and considering the nearest site wanted £30 to park on a non electric pitch ( which would have meant driving and paying to park somewhere to get the stuff to the beach)
They have just started to offer this service and the owner wants to spread the word, there's a tap for water and she's looking into a dump for waste.
There's a supermarket ,pubs ,beach ,shops all within 5 mins walk.
Spread the word!

Thanks Vlad, but I have a question....

Do you mean £8 AND £10........... £18 is a lot for a site with no facilities

The way I read it is, park for the day £8.... or park for the day & night for a Tenner..

Thus two quid more for overnighting... (y)

But I may be wrong, I allway`s look for the good in thing`s.. :)

Used to go with the olds! Now I have one of my own :)
Lovely beach a Perranporth.... whether it's a tenner or £18 that's still a good price for overnight and a day's parking when you consider that a some places down this way charge £10 or more just for a day's prime beach-side parking!

Sorry for the confusion it's £ 18 day and night !
Which believe me is good value for the area.
If you could find somewhere else to park during the day your still going to pay for it.

Ouch  Thank goodness for our two Bromptons and 10 minutes cycling :)

If you need full access with the kids then I suppose the £18 is OK........ not for me tho'
