take a look at this email purporting to be from Paypal. The grammar and spelling let it down but it does look nearly genuine but of course it's not. DONT CLICK ON THE LINK!

It's the same as with all emails of this type. If it's genuine, whether from Paypal, your bank, or anyone else you will not ever be asked to click a link. Not ever for any reason.

If it asks you to click a link or open an attachment it's a fake/scam one. Agree the bad spelling and grammar in that one is a give away as well. A lot of them seem to be better written than that these days.

PayPal NEVER address an email as 'Dear PayPal User' (or customer). They always address you by your full registered name. If it doesn't it's a scammer.
