Today is a wonderful day - not only have I charged two toothbrushes without killing the charger but our long awaited registration for the new(to us) van has come through at last.

WE ARE FREE....FREEDOM, FREEDOM (shouted with a blue faced, Scottish/American accent)

Our registration came through yesterday. DVLA were efficient. It was HRMC who took their time.
Keeping our fingers crossed for good weather this weekend - off on our maiden voyage (apart from the drive home from Germany, that is!)

strange that....HMRC usually straightforward and can be done easily on line.

Yes, we did it online, and didn't hear back from them. Had to chase them up by phone twice. Then they got the calculation wrong. In their favour, of course!
