Yep finally got on and got 48/50 on both and I have to admit that I have not had hold of a highway code in 50 years

I do think there are one or two daft questions though

my son is trying to get his licence to drive out 3500kg works truck. Passed his theory no problem 98% but the hazard perception test, where you have to watch a film and click whenever you see an approaching hazard, is another question. He either clicked too soon or too late:Eeek: One of my customers said his wife has taken the test 7 times and failed every time & has now given up..........

Done the test 48/47 but i am now very confused .
As one of the questions is about which lane to use on a motorway{left}.
Why when i drive in the UK is everybody in the center lane or the right hand lane.
Or is it all the immigrants with UK cars that think they are at home.:ROFLMAO:

Aug 09 to date 9,000 miles!
Well have to admit, neither of us knew what a toucan crossing actually is.

I subsequently Googled it and that confirmed that I guessed correctly - you know - Well there must be summat slightly different about these or they wouldn't have picked that type of crossing would they? - which I already knew cos I remembered saying what I said, but don't know which ones I got wrong as I didn't even notice the ability to 'review' until Pete did it - and he initially thought the screen it takes you to which says you've completed 50 and missed none, meant he'd scored 50, till I put him right! :ROFLMAO: - but anyway I suspect some of my failures were to do with the white lines up against the kerb/verge.

He actually had done summat I very nearly did, in ticking the box that said adopting a certain style of driving would increase fuel consumption - we both read it as 'increase fuel economy' because the opposite answer that you should have ticked, used the word economy and not consumption. An English Comprehension test and nowt whatsoever to do with driving ability or common sense. Pfftt. :shout:

I changed my own wheel

Question; did I commit an offence ?

Yes it is under Reg 14 of the Motorway Traffic Regulations in England and Wales or Reg 12 of the same act in Scotland.

You MUST notify the Highways Agency Patrol or the police via the roadside phones or mobile and wait for them to attend.

The Highway code also states that you shouldn't attempt even the simplest roadside repair on the Hard-shoulder.

PS I got this question right but copied the above from google
