    Hi
We are new to this forum and about to embark on our first motorhome holiday in western France. Could anyone tell us if parking in a village over night (aires or village square parking etc) is allowed in France.
    Thanks Trin

Aires yes.. Thats what they are for.. Many people have said it's acceptable to park in villages and near churches.. BUT watch out for market day, school opening times etc.
Once on a winter trip, I was very tired and had a real bad day in severe weather, spotted a car park for the local mayor. His light was on, so went to ask.. No problem and we had a great nights rest....
Get yourself a copy of "all the aire France".. Good investment..

    Welcome to FUN

IF ebay.. Be careful as some are selling the older book.. Make sure it's the latest one...
Vicarious is the place most of us buy from...
