Anyone likely to be at Parc Verger around 9/10 July - we haven't seen or spoken to anyone from UK since we were in Italy a while ago and could really do with some English conversation. Currently on a very nice site not far from Montelimar but everyone is Dutch - thank goodness they won last night!!

Surely the Dutch can all speak English?

All the ones I know can.

But I know a Funster and his film star wife who live in a hut on Park Verger... unless he was let out for a treat.

(I understand you completely about missing conversation in English.)

Shouldn't you just say that Steph will be back in the 13th? The main requirement was for conversation in English not Weegie :LOL:

The "Toilet/Shower" cleaners who live in the tatty static, have been known to grunt in English.. (y)

But if he put`s his hand out for you to shake.... be better off to decline...

I have seen what he get`s up to with them hands.. [IMG]

Just nod and smile and he will scuttle away to his shed... [IMG]:D

Well we stayed at Parc Verger for a couple of nights on our way back to the UK from Crete. Have to say that is it one of the nicest sites we have stayed on (and we have stayed on 60 in the last 18 months!). The site is in a lovely picturesque and peaceful area, the pitches are a great size, level and well spaced out. The shower block is pristine and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Met some lovely people including some Funsters and Bob and Di are lovely helpful people. The only downside was the cost of the tapeworm treatment for our dog at the vets..................... 33.35 euros!!!
