Scalby mills car park, sign posted 'sealife center', is quite popular.

Haganap stops there quite often when he's in town.

Scalby Mills pub 100 yds away...Ivanho pub 1/4 mile away.

should be ok at this time of year but, as always, be prepared to move.

the local council appear to have overcome the misinterpretaion of the 'no camping' signs.

the new parking by-law signs say 'no overnight sleeping, no camping, no caravanning, no cooking'

just about covers it i reckon

usually loads parked up during the day on the marine drive, which is where i think you mean, but i dont know about overnighting there.
this time of year i dont suppose they're that bothered.

i dont normally venture down there...been there, seen it !!!

the refurbished Oasis cafe near the northern end does a mean full english though, if you do stay there and cant be bothered to cook... :thumb:

you could try on the hill top (Albert drive) overlooking the Marine drive... accessed from North Marine road... slightly sloping though but should be quiet.
