Here you go Beemer...

About half hour/forty mins from ferry terminal,,,, easy access..

Get a lot of M/Homes and tuggers pull in on the way to the ferry...

Refrigerator lorries have to shut down their vivitars at 2100.. :thumb:

As an after thought, and if it is the ferry you are catching...

If it`s the early one,,, we have stopped at the port ferry terminal, but not got there till late evening...

There in time no rush in the morning..

Don't know if they still allow this.... it was a few years since we did...

It is a bit noisy as it is only about a hundred yards from the A38 but if you turn off at Lee Mill, 2 junctions before the Plymouth turnoff for the ferry, and follow the signs for the truck park you will find a very long layby, part of the old A38 I think which gives direct access back onto the A38 towards Plymouth. I often see MHs parked there and during the day there is a burger van so you can "eat out". The Smithaleigh Hotel, which you will pass to reach the parking also does food if you want something posher. GR: SX585555

Late update to my suggestion above - just driven past it this morning and it is not the Lee Mill turnoff but the next one towards Plymouth, signposted Cornwood and Smithaleigh amongst other places. There is a filling station visible as well at the turnoff.
