Overnight stop before eurotunnel crossing mid July (1 Viewer)

Can anyone recommend an overnight campsite for one night before our eurotunnel crossing. We would like to be able to walk easily to a pub for an evening meal. We have a dog (in case that's relevant). Thanks

Hi Trisha, the motorhome parking at the Canterbury Park & Ride seems to fit the bill.

Only 10 minutes from the tunnel, rural location, good food. Narrow access lanes though so if your motorhome is large, it will be tight access.

Alternatively, go across the channel and stay in Calais either at an aire or Cite Europe for the shopping

Hythe. Military road alongside canal, has many pubs. shopping small town high street. 7 mins to tunnel entrance. Sianbury and waitrose nearby.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

I think you will find The Drum is closest just off J11 of the M20 in a small village called Stamford North
