Overnight Parking in Blackpool? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know of any overnight parking in Blackpool?

Was thinking of going there this weekend but all the sites seem to be full there.

Is Southport too far away? Plenty of seafront parking there in a rundown disused carpark.

Or get into thr park 'n' ride before 1800 and get locked in overnight.

Lots of parking at Cleveleys promenade, its usually packed with MHs!!

You can also park on St Annes promenade or Fleetwood has loads of space.

Ah, that explains it. We went for a run on the bike and ended up in Southport and saw smoke as we approached at about 5 o'clock. Must have been the end of the show.

We left in bright sunshine, hence the need for speed, and arrived in a grey old world on the coast.

dazzer is spot on clevelys sea front, or down near st annes if you turn right at the main traffic lights at st annes ( going in from blackpool) pub on the corner.
turn left on the coast road and follow it down for about a mile the road opens up, sand dunes on one side quite open on the other,loads of space to park there.
also go a bit further on fairhaven lake on your right nice area.

We ended up near Fleetwood, it was very quiet and we had a good night there.

Fleetwood motorhome parking

Does anyone know if the fleetwood MH parking layby is still there.

Or if not is there anywhere else to go in Blackpool region.

Blackpool

Blackpool Borough Council is not keen on motorhomes - parking is a joke.

Fylde B C is better though and they have an "aire" (sort of) at St Anne's on Sea - here is my write up about it.

There is a pub in Blackpool that will allow you to overnight - Google "Shovels Pub" on Common Edge Road
