As we get older we do not seem to be crossing the Channel so often and we are now thinking of spending more time in the UK, Looking at the different publications we cannot decide which one to buy and wondered what you all prefer.

Hello

We use the following which we have found work for us:
  1. C&CC Sites Guide (for Certified Sites and the occasional Club Site)
  2. UK Campsites (website) (used ften, has C&C and C&CC sites and independent sites with reviews)
  3. Britstops (occasionally and mainly for non-pub stops)
I have no doubt you will get many more suggestions!

Good luck.

Did buy BritStops once, now we just phone up and ask, I think if you are going to patronise a business, most will say "no problem" providing it doesn't impact on them. Don't think we've had a no yet.

We cross the channel quite a bit but when in the UK we use C&CC rallies, THSs & CSs generally. As we live in Kent we sometimes use Canterbury P&R for a night or two and get the bus into Canterbury and then get a bus going to other places for the day. Free bus pass helps!

Occasionally we'll use independent sites but not often as find them very expensive.
