Does anyone know if it's possible to stop overnight after disembarking from a DFDS crossing at Dunkirk. We usually do the Calais route and stay over there.

Drive off the boat and at the first roundabout go all the way round and come back on yourself to the departure point. Its were the none ticket holders buy there tickets. You can park there undisturbed.

Thanks for that. Same as Calais, then. Very handy for an early start next morning.:Smile::Smile:

We stopped over on the Aire at Gravelines on the way back last September. About 10 minutes or so from Dunkirk port.

It was very busy, we drove round a few times to find a space, A friendly Dutchman waved and said he would be leaving in 10 minutes. It's just a short stroll to the walled town. Excellent Friterie in the square.

We came off the Ferry at 10pm and pulled on the big lorry car park at Dunkirk on the road from the ferry off the roundabout with no trouble at all.
