Oven used to be pretty fierce for it's size, but flames probably 30% lower than they used to be. Top burners are still OK with pretty good blue flames. Any thoughts on the oven? Attack jets with fuse wire?

Check where the thermostat sensor is. Is it possible you've knocked/moved it?

I recently had to replace the light bulb in the oven at home and had to move the temperature sensor to get at it. Then found that the oven now operates at the selected temperature, which it never did before. Seems the sensor was bent out of place.

Incidentally I'm not talking about the flame-out sensor, which sits actually in the pilot flame.
