After weeks of looking out at the MH on the drive, we finally got to have a day out in it! Had a good drive to Barbury Castle, just south of Swindon. ... signposted from Wroughton. We had a lovely walk with the dog along the Ridgeway to the Iron Age Earthworks, and then back to the MH for a cup of tea, with a wonderful view from the car park. ... probably not suitable for the largest MHs. Really looking forward to a proper trip away next month. Roll on Summer!!

We stopped in that lay-by about two weeks ago, after visiting Avebury! There were no horses training, because it was a Sunday, but I agree, it is a good spot to walk the dogs. The Car Park at Avebury normally has a height restriction, but on that Sunday, the bar had been swung aside.
