We will shortly be starting our tour of Europe at the beginning of July.
My wife Tracey and our staffy Charlie are initially thinking of 6 months(hopefully longer). In our Autotrail Tracker which is just having solar panels fitted(is it worth having an inverter)

Taking the tunnel to Calais and off we go!!

We know it's the start at the busiest time to be going but we have both taken a Sabbatical.

Are there any countries that will not allow Staffordshire Bull terriers in and will he need to be muzzled?

Thinking of perhaps heading towards The Netherlands and down towards Slovenia/Croatia and when is the best time to leave to head to Spain for Winter.

Loose plans as we don't want to be tied down to anything in particular.

If you have any ideas do's and don'ts. Places to see, places to avoid.

Many thanks
Steve

Having pangs of envy reading about your plans. Check list below may be useful for you: -

Passports & Pet Passport

Tunnel confirmation/voucher(s)

Driving licence

MH insurance (Have you told your UK insurance provider that you are taking your MH abroad?)

Vehicle registration documents

Check you have a valid European Health Insurance card (visit ehic.org.uk)

Warning triangles (two recommended)

Spare bulbs for MH

Tour maps and guides

First aid kit - compulsory in some European countries

Fluorescent vests - (compulsory in France and many European countries)

Headlight beam deflectors

Personal Travel Insurance

Vehicle breakdown cover

Camping Card International (CCI) which is recognised proof of identity at most campsites in Europe, so you could use this instead of your passport when you check in.

Hope you have a wonderful time.
