All Ellie's puppies went to their new homes with their own teddies. Now Phoebe has bonked poor Teddy to death and he is all wet and soggy. I have to put him on the mantelpiece for a rest. :roflmto:

Our dear friends have always had Staffs. You really do have to love them especially when they breathe over you or fart with the excitment of visitors arriving. I believe some Staffs see visitors as a treat to eat.

But I have a new kid on the block too. A tenth grandchild who weighed in at 10lbs 4ozs. I think that made my daugters eyes water and my bum clenched up on the news.

Anyway, on the bright side, instead of buying it baby clothes we can go straight to school uniform. :ROFLMAO:

Sorry Folks

Sorry folks
I just can't appreciate your enthusiasm, in 2008 we rented a cottage in the Vendee, the guy who owned the adjoining cottage had a pen that ran the length of four cottages.(see Photo), he was a staffy nut, whilst we were there he drove 300 miles to buy another one. these animals did nothing but fight with one another from morn till night, when the new one was introduced to the pen it was carnage as they fought to find out who was the Boss, every time we ventured out side of the cottage they jumped up the caging, snarling and generally being a pain in the arse, the couple who owned these beasts from hell were brilliant, we had a few barbeques together (in the front gardens) but all the time we were plagued from these beasts howling in their pen, maybe one on it's own might be ok, but it would not be my first choice of a pet!!

everyone is entitled to their own opinion , we take Riley everywhere with us and he is always praised up for his good behaviour , penned up all day they are bound to bark , shame on the people who owned them :(

Well I've not met Riley yet, but if he's only half as good as Dick & Barbara's Rosie is - he'll be brill.

We have a next door neighbour now with a nocturnally howling mutt .........

Staffies do have a bit of a reputation as the "chav dog" which is quite unfair.

Tara has a few Staffie friends and loves them hanging off her coat and wrestling them.

Many many dogs will have bad reputations, but with the reputations, look at the owners.

any dogs couped up in a cage for most of the day will behave and amuse themselves by fighting each other and barking.
