Hello and welcome from Mr & Mrs Fat Rat.
We have bought many vehicles from Ebay including Motorhomes and Campervans. The most memorable was a C Reg Renault Camper which had no power steering (I live in Wales so another very long story) and was a 'present' from my thoughtful husband
. Great, I said, but where is it? Isle of Wight. SO, off I went on my own, by train and ferry onto island, ferry and drive back with some slight?! issue with the gears. Ended up coasting my way up the A34 (completely the wrong direction but I had a lot on my mind) and ended up stopping very abruptly at Newbury Services. The gear box had seized. Long story shortish, left home at 6 am arrived home 2 am on the back of AA lorry. So if your van reached home and you have some minor niggles, be VERY happy. It could have been much worse and it still didn't put us off.
