    Hi,
    I have a Truma Combi 4e heater/boiler.

During my travels, I drained the boiler (as cold weather was predicted) and continued with my journey. When I arrived at the next site, I turned on the heater/boiler via electric only.

Unfortunately, I forgot to fill the boiler with water and didn't realise until the next morning. Could I have done any damage trying to heat water with no water in the boiler ? It appears to be still working - just wondered if I'd done any long term damage ? I used electric with the setting for both heater and boiler winter selected.

No the Combi is designed to be used with or without water in it so you'll be ok.

    Is that what it was.

I thought it was a tsunami, I went head first into the coal cellar.
