went for a walk into thetford town on Saturday we saw this

Had heard there were otters back - whereabouts exactly did you see it?

Pm is fine if you'd rather not say on forum - I live just outside Thetford and would like to know A friend of mine works for the BTO and she said she had seen signs of otters.

We've canoed up and down that bloody river countless times.
We've seen grass snakes swimming, fish, swans and even a teenage ninja turtle, but never an otter!

we first saw the otter on the river bank near icelands. we then followed it down the river to the bridge next to the floating restaurant opposite the dads army statue

We stayed here Grange Farm camping Stoke Ferry

Last year and saw otters on the water at the camp site.

About a month ago we had two young otters on our pond, they ate loads of our fish ! :Sad: Nice to see but not here please. Good photos thanks for posting

Well done - I'm still waiting to photograph a live otter in the wild. Have seen one or two deceased ones at the roadside in Charente-Maritime and an intriguing trail of bubbles in a channel on the Ile de Re but they don't count.

The otters at Thetford have become quite famous, they even featured on the first episode of this year's Springwatch. I was there on Tuesday but didn't see one unfortunately.

Amazing! We're going to the Shetlands in a few weeks in the hope of seeing one or two...could just come to Theford and save on costs for sure!

this was the 3rd time in about 2 months that I have tried to get photos of the otters. I was just lucky this time.
