I got to dunkirk with a delay of 1.5 hours ,could not see any reason for delays,no tyres burning , no one walking around with placards
judgmental the Mh I'm after is 22 grand cheaper in belgium(y):whistle: .
p.s. the missus signed in and got an auto upgrade to massive room - another benefit of posh to totty.

Now at tunnel and 2 hr delay. Not the greatest Start to a holiday but on our way! Having a nap now...

Well the main roads in Kent are pretty much stuffed at the moment. If you are travelling down to the port or eurotunnel today leave plenty of time

Can anyone tell me how Eurotunnel can have 5 departures per hour one way but only 3 departures per hour the other way, would that not mean running out of trains one way and having a big stack of them at the other ?

yes scousebirb,, but as i repaired most of them for the last 2 years, and they bought new trains, them ones in calais are being used for spares.

It's a huge problem down here Andrea, causing chaos. Apparently migrants are trying to get into the tunnel every night now, the trains were suspended for a short time last night.

our little convoy is booked on the tunnel in a few weeks time, however i am beginning to wish we had booked Poole - Cherbourg. Personally prefer tunnel for travel and price but this disruption must be impacting on sales.

Let's hope it's sorted soon. I would still pick the tunnel over the ferries but that's a personal thing, although we are going by ferry for our next trip to France
