Sadly,my partner, Kay (who some of you met at Carmarthen) passed away this morning at 3.30 with me and her daughter by her side.
So Jim, with this in mind, could you please delete "Steve4kay" and replace it with "Salopian" with all the other information retained.
Thanks in advance....Stephen..

Dear Stephen.

My thoughts are very much with you, Kay's daughter today and all other family and friends. I lost my Mother in April, and have to admit it has shaken me much more than I thought it could.

The following 'thought' maybe of help to you all as you go through the next few days, weeks etc.

'Only those of us that are not loved and those of us who never show love to anyone else escape grief. It is the price we all have to pay for the love that makes our lives worth living - whether it be the loss of a Partner, Parent, child, brother, sister or friend, the pain lies in wait for us. And, when it comes, it has to be experienced, we have to “let it go” before it can be eased.'

I hope this may be of help to you all. Peace be with you all.

Adge.

May the many happy times you shared together help you through the sorrow of bereavement.

Do cry - dont hold it back

There are supposedly a number of stages of grief although not everyone has every stage.

The first is shock and denial and at times a feeling of being overwhelmed. There will be times when things may seemed blurred, time flies although it seems to stand still.

Sometimes there is an instinct to get everything done quickly. Other times there can be a feeling that you want nothing done. Dont let anyone put pressure on you to make decisions quickly. Take time to write things down and go back to them where decisions have to be made.

2. Pain and remorse sometimes for things not done or said. Dont hide tears or hurt and dont bottle feelings up. These are very normal. Dont worry if there are things you normally do that you cant, and dont worry if you go into "automatic mode" where you just do things and dont even realise.

3. Anger, reflection and loneliness

Talk about these if you have them. Its okay to feel sad and lonely and angry.
Loss of a loved one can lead to depression so use happy memories to help you through this. Talk, look through photographs and be honest with those around you.

5. Changing routines and acceptance

Routines may change, let them change without fear or regret and remember that our loved ones would want us to continue to enjoy life to the full.

Grief is very personal and individual affecting people in different ways. We had 7 deaths in one year about 3 years ago, so you are welcome to send me a private message if you would like help or just to talk with someone not in close circles.

Sincere condolences from all of us, to you, your family and friends.

Our first time next week.
Hi Steve I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this awful time, its such a difficult time for you both right now. My life long best friend was killed last november along with her six year old grandson and the pain of losing them both is so hard to deal with, they say time heals, just try and focus on the good times you had with Kay, you will have your memories with you in your heart always and forever, no one can ever take those away from you.
I am praying for you. Take care Seve.
Paula.
