I would imagine after that long in Forestry work he will have seen fires jumping gaps,so Training came in,remove the source. Brave ? Yes,no doubt about that,however,i do believe that today you "May ?" be trained to get clear yourself,so your not A.N.Other for the rescue people to deal with...Funny old world,you cannot do right,for doing wrong. Good to see folks are gathering around him,he has got two things to commend him,what he did and...Owning up that it was his own fault. Top man.
