Dont worry Frankie, once we have a feel for your exact requirements then something will come along. I thought the VW would be about the right size and could be used as an every day driver as well as a comfortable holiday camper. Something will be along shortly at the right price am sure.

This one is within budget. It looks well maintained. Its garaged, which I always like to see. It has all the extras as the owner is giving up motorhoming because of health reasons. Its a Pilot, on a Peugeot so parts are available if needed in France. Only one problem and that's the hot water boiler is not working, could be a cheap fix though. Link Removed

Only problem is that it will be on German plates and German Registered and we all know what the French beaurocracy is like

No problem with an older van Peter. As long as its LHD and the lights have not been converted to UK spec. The only ones that seem to have problems are newer vans and the ones that have been brought into the UK and converted, then taken to France.

Seems too good to be true and contact seller direct email or mobile ?
Beware the scammer

Beware indeed as always, but its not over priced for one reason. Its like many German vans of this ilk. Its a home build, built on a VW caravelle with an internal kit. If it was built by one of the recognised builders such as Westfalia, Carthago or Dethler, it would be double the price. There is nothing wrong with the home builds with the internal kit, only that some have had a very hard life as post office or delivery vans before becoming Wohnmobiles.

The second one is about 20 mls from me, with high ish miles 125, 000 mls or 220, 000 klm but should be good for another 125k :winky: Seller must be confident in engine as he states test drive welcome- can get all new covers done for aprox 35 quid per cushion and front seats done for 70 per seat plus material (100/200 quid) depending on what you pick, then it would look very nice inside
I count 6 cushions and 2 front seats so aprox 350 plus material

Yep it looks like a good one .... (a bit too BLUE for me ... but could manage with the problem... I was thinking about putting some RED covers instead.....ok ok JJ ....let's make a deal with ..Pink ones??:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:)

To be serious ... it looks very cheap 2.300,00 £ buy it now!!! Even with the few things which need repairing. Of course fridge and wardrobe are more important to me than the bike space
