Finally, after nearly 2 years of (Farting about), which how & why, its at home.
Picked up the new Autotrail Mohawk from Don Amott at Derby on Friday.

I can say after 2 full days of loading it, then removing it & reloading again, I think we are ready for our first 4 day trip this weekend.

Autotrail have made a cracking product (so far) we love it.

But here is the question,,,,,,,,,,,, havent got a clue how to work the Truma system, is there a numbtys guide anwhere ?

    Regards

    Garry

Hello :hi:. You should have got a pack from the dealer with an instruction book for the MH & all it's toys, if not ask them for one.

If it is a new van I would expect it to have a CP Plus controller.

The Truma heating system controls are the most user unfriendly I have ever come across. There is a page in the Truma manual which explains all the controls. Once you find the page do not put the manual away!! We had our Autotrail for 18 months and every time I wanted to switch the heating/water on I had to consult the manual. I think the problem is that they use the same symbol for gas and water - not logical!!
Our was a 2010 model, so perhaps you don't have the same controls as I think they updated them on the later models.

Welcome from Chelveston in Northants, nice van, hope you do not get any teething problems, I assume it is a new model ie 2015. We must meet up some time, Northampton is only 20-30 mins away down the A45.

Time I reckons to put up my intro post.

Flook, might be sooner than you think, small world, I'm from Kislingbury Northants

Spoke with dealer today, it wasn't me being thick, the Truma has a faulty control unit, I'm actually happy about this, as I told Jane I wasn't that thick ha ha

Forgot to add, yep I know Kislingbury, on the other side of town towards the M1. When I worked for myself I had a few customers in Kislingbury.

    That's the one,
The wife & I just thought bugger it, we have put 3 though uni, time for a bit of us, we also run our own business so booking holidays is hard, as work always comes first, hopefully with the van just go off with no notice.
We will see, love the idea, but has been 25 years since owned a camper.

GRC, I appreciate what it means running your own business, have retired now, no phones to answer, no queries to make, not at anyone's beck & call, no more pulling out big range cookers etc.

I reckon it will be very noticeable having a camper to what you have now though, you will be able to relax and take it easy for a few days.

Possibly updated in the new model but this is the one-pager QUG for our 13 Auto-trail.
