I just been trying to find out if someone was on line, ended up lost, but did find this

The first 2 are obvious, although I was surprised there are more guests than members on line tonight

but what are the 'robots', when I looked a bit further they are named, a lot seem to be google

Robots are from google, bing, Yahoo etc. The are recording and storing up every word ever said here so it can come back and haunt us. Normally we have over twice the amount of guests reading as we do members. 73,000+ unique visitors in August. (y)

I guess that is why if I put a MH related query into google a MHF post generally comes up on top

often easier than searching through old posts through the forum :D

I always used to search our site using google. You can search any site like this..... Here I'm searching for the term 'wild camping' but only on motorhome fun

"wild camping site:www.motorhomefun.co.uk" try it on google without the quotes.

However our search facility here at the new site is superb, you can search and have the most recent or the most relevant terms returned in nanoseconds, and of course restrict it to particular forums or users. (y)
