Had this problem on mine.. a 4mt Omnistor 5500, when fully closed it wasn't fully retracted at the opposite end from the winder.
Easily solved.. solution from the Fiamma site, Awning Repair Instructions..
Start by wind the awning fully out ..
Stick adhesive tape to the roller tube (available upon request Item No. 04191A01-) on the end that isn't winding in fully.
In order to determine the correct number of layers of tape to use, close the awning and measure how far the awning is staying open.
Use one piece of tape for every 6mm of open space. We recommend a maximum of 5 pieces of tape. Unroll the canopy completely, exposing the roller tube.
Place the tape on the side that is not closing properly, sticky sideup, start by attaching tape to the exposed roller tube and roll up the awning canopy until the tape is completely attached around to the roller tube.
I used two pieces of gaffer tape, about 3 inches long.. . awning now winds in fully at both ends..
