MY LUCK IS CHANGING (I THINK)

SOMETHING HAS GONE RIGHT FOR A CHANGE

In fact three things have gone right.

After many years of battling Barclays Insurance Dublin, the Financial Ombudsman has ruled in my favour - its only a few hundred quid but every penny counts these days.

The Financial Ombudsman further ruled that I had an additional valid claim against Barclays Bank (Barclaycard) which they have now opened.

    Anddddddddddd.........

I am eagerly awaiting delivery of my 2nd hand pedalo :thumb::thumb:

    yippppeeeeee

DONT ALL FAINT AT ONCE :Doh::Doh::Doh::Doh:

About time your luck changed, hurrah for you Gail.

Hopefully I'll get the same result with Winterthur Life.
I got them to admit they had transferred my pension out but failed to keep records of who to, admittedly it was only 40 years ago ! !
They refuse to reply and told me any further correspondence will only be filed.
Have now involved the Ombudsman as someone has my pension and if it can't be located, then I believe Winterthur Life should compensate me although the Ombudsman says they aren't responsible for my pension if they have transferred it out.
    Investigation still ongoing.

Is it any wonder people don't trust big companies?

I acted for a lady once whose husband killed himself and the life insurance company refused to pay out on a stupid technicality.

Via the Ombudsman we got her about £300k.

Happy she was and gave me a huge kiss

She was quite a looker too.

Well with my hands I cant row worth mentioning now and as we are often at the seaside or by a river or lake I wanted something that would give me a little bit of exercise. The pedalos can take an outboard too apparently

Walking with the arthritis is very painful at times and my foot tends to swell up since the fractures so I thought some sitting down exercise might work.

Anyway I have fond memories of being in a pedalo in Italy and Sicily years ago with my dad. Perhaps I am starting the 7 year itch 34 years too late?

or is it called 2nd youth??? god help tony if I am going through 2nd youth hahahahahaha

By the way This is what tony wanted but we were well outbid (I bet Jim gave a big sigh of relief)
