I don't think it stops the door opening though Lenny rather just stops it closing?

doesn't apply to mine anyway, but had we had it the door would have been off again when the workshop took it for a test drive :D:D

fridge nice and clean already, no harm done, but it did look like it had not been used for years, not just 2 weeks

This is the bit of crap which keeps my fridge open, and it's useless if driving as the door flies open on bends or roundabouts.

I am sure that many do not realise that there is an 'ajar' setting to the door. Certainly we didn't until I came to replace the faulty catch and wondered why the catch had two prongs instead of one. It was only with some experimentation I realised why. Also it means that the motorhome can be driven without the door opening and closing while still in the ajar position
