Googled it but still don't get it!

How do you convert a url to a single word, as in "Click Here" instead of using the full address?

    Ok two words!

Type the word you want to use, highlight the word, copy the URL you want to insert then on the 'reply to' or 'new thread' text box, at the top, is a 'insert link' icon. (globe with a paper clip) click that and paste the copied URL.

be careful you dont insert the WWW. twice as its already there.
i highlight the whole box then paste.

    1. Using your mouse, highlight the text you want to have as the link..

    2. Click on the 'Link Icon' in the post tool bar, then paste your url ..

    Thanks, I'll start experimenting.

Found one option, in a word doc type the word you want to use, highlight it then "Control K" brings up a menu where you paste the url. Don't know if it will work in here.

    Or you could use this....http://goo.gl/

Not a one-worder, but still useful for shortening those annoying eBay long links
