Just arrived in Oban getting early ferry to Mull in the morning for a couple nights
Just need to find somewhere quite to park up for the night

I'm envious, lovely part of the world. Unfortunately, while the rest of the UK is basking in sunshine it is different in the NW at the moment.

Yea lovely part of the world and only 3 hrs from home but never been to mull been to Oban in car plenty times
Only downside is very strong winds and rain tonight and sailings are being delayed 6pm sailing still in port !!!

If you have not booked your crossing you can always drive round and get the short crossing from Locholine to Fishnish, some really nice places to stop on the way as well and cheaper crossing

Long drive though if you are already in Oban, might be an option for way back if not booked

Very envious though, have fun

Thanks David will try and remember for next time as return crossing booked
Parked up in large carpark near leasure centre very noisy but suppose is a Friday night another 3 MHs also parked up but no sign of life in them

Well the weather has not been kind to us as low cloud and mist most of the time and now parked up at the cairnure site right on the waters edge great views when sun pops its head out
BUT what made the day was seeing a crow chase away 2 EAGLES think they were golden eagles and not sea eagles got a couple of photos but it was click and hope for the best so will see what they are like when I get back home tomorrow
