we are lookig forward to a week on moors can anyone suggest any overnight stops please

Try the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge between Kirkbymoorside and Castleton.
Post code is YO62 7LQ.
No electric hook up or anything (you can probably get water) but they will let you park in the car park if you are eating and having a couple of pints.
It is litterally in the middle of no where, but the food is excellent and the views are brilliant.
Just ask nicely at the bar and they will sort you out.
I normally park in the furthest corner of the park from the pub with the back of the MH to the road. :thumb:
Don't tell anyone about the place, we'll keep it secret.
