    Hi Funsters,
We're on the NC500 and loving it. Currently in North West Scotland at Gruinyard Bay and suffering the stink of dead seaweed. We're blogging the trip with a mixture of practical stuff and general nonsense so please have a read - here is the latest post.

Did a group of bikes pass you ? They did London, the 500 and back over the weekend.

I suspect you will enjoy it more.

Numerous groups of bike have passed us. We are taking it very gently whilst keeping an eye out for passing bikers. If they roar past when we're not expecting them it frightens the bejasus out of us. ;)

No excuse for that, stupid to go round upsetting people, the noise makes them no faster. You wouldn't hear me passing you.

Hi, we did most of the NC500 over the last couple of weeks. If you need a site for doing the washing etc then I can recommend Sango sands site at Durness great beach, lovely people that run it and the views wow. We turned South at Thurso as I am not that carried away with Caithness it's a bit bleak. Had a good night at the britstop at Gourden. Enjoy your travels and keep posting.

Ps doing it again in July on the motorbike so get to enjoy it all again.
