we need a non return valve for our water system. Are there any Hymer owners at Chester with a spare please?

Unless Hymer have recently changed the pump system that they fit, the NRV is part of the pump. It is a twin-barrelled Reich pump with a NRV built into the outlet spigot. There are two versions of this pump however (with and without NRV) perhaps yours has been fitted with the wrong one? If you still need to fit a valve, they can be obtained separately but check to make sure there is sufficient headroom in the pipe between the tank top and bottom to allow for the additional component as well as the pump.

Scroll down this page to see the various Reich components including the NRV. N.b. the correct pump used by Hymer is the black 19L twin submersible half way down the page ( the first one with the NRV). Separate NRVs are below that.

Thanks for both replies, Cliff and Martin @Mr Mousy cycled to Flintshire Caravans and got A NRV - which means I can shower before going to the quiz tonight! (y)
