Happy New Year to all.

I have a problem with the water on my MH. Some weeks ago when I turned on the taps I heard the pump running but no water came out. I drove the MH home to take a look and when I arrived the water mysteriously started working again.

However it has now stopped again, with the same problem. I can hear the pump running but no water through the tap.

Any idea would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
Have you either an in-line filter, or a filter mounted on the suction end in the tank?? Maybe even a pump filter??

Or, a leak allowing air to enter the pipework can cause the same effect.

if you have run the tank to empty you maybe have an air lock.

otherwise, as above....an air leak somewhere between pump and tank.

many many years! since I was a kid
just guessing you have a diaphragm type pump like the aquasource or fiamma common to many converters. the rubber diaphragm perishes and needs replacing. available as a service kit rather than an expensive new pump

damn...never thought of that...but, the op said it happened before and corrected itself.

still worth investigating though :thumb:
